CAP and GDPR

GDPR

A new law called the General Data Protection Regulation comes into force in the UK on 25th May 2018.
It is known as the GDPR and it is a new set of rules that will give people more control over their personal data.

Personal Information
Personal data is any information about you that can make you identifiable, like your name, your address, or your date of birth.
We want everyone who uses Central Advocacy Partners to know that we only collect the information we need to and any personal information we do collect is stored securely.
We will be running workshops soon in our Inclusion project to help people understand their new rights.
